宜昌县开拓农业企业的初步尝试

本文以宜昌县的实践为依据,论述了农业企业在振兴山区经济中的特殊地位和作用,并总结出“按规模经营组织山地开发,按农业企业特点实施管理,按商品生产需求搞好服务”的山地开发经验;指明兴办农业企业是一条振兴山区经济的成功之路。

A TRIAL OF DEVELOPING AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS IN YICHANG COUNTY

Yichang County is one of 37 counties in Hubei Province. Its land area is 373,000 ha,in which the hilly area is 244 ,000ha;the cultivable land is 122,000ha except the exposed rocks and forest belt.The agricultural business of Yichang County is to exploit the surface resources to develop a variety of diversified farms. Since 1986,1100 agricultural businesses (main produces; citrus, tea) have set up;making an investment of more than 38,000,000 yuan,the hilly land area of 12, 600ha has been cultivated. For four years,these agricultural businesses have had fixed assets of 21 ,600,000 yuan,have settled 37,000 surplus labourers,and have achieved annual profits tax of 9,000,000 yuan.
