Abstract: | In the autumn of 2019, an investigation was conducted on the water quality and sediment status in the coastal waters between the Zhongshan estuary and the Binhai port in the north of the coast. The results showed that the main factors that exceeded the standard were chemical oxygen demand, inorganic nitrogen, active phosphate, and Cu, Pb and Cd in heavy metals. The heavy metals As and sulfide in the marine sediment monitoring project exceeded the national class I sediment quality standard, but met the national class II marine quality standard, and the others met the class I sediment quality standard. The potential ecological risk of heavy metals in sediments in the investigated sea area was low except Cd. The single factor ecological risk of heavy metals in sediments was Cd > Hg >As > Pb > Cu > Cr > Zn from high to low. |
