| Abstract: | The long-term variabilities of PKS 0735+178 in UBV bands have been shown and discussed by means of the methods of period analysis
and correlation analysis. The results show that there is a strong variation period of 14.42years in B band, the variations
in optical UBV bands are closely correlated with no delay, and the spectral shape is associated with the brightness of the
source.
