| Abstract: | A spectrogram of the 5250 Å region previously obtained during a period of excellent seeing has been remeasured and calibrated by reference to the preliminary KPNO photometric atlas. This analysis, using the logarithm of opacitance instead of an H-D plot, has reduced some of the effects of scattered light and shows greater facular line contrast.Visiting Scientist, Kitt Peak National Observatory Tucson, Ariz. 85726, U.S.A., which is operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc., under contract with the National Science Foundation. |
