Sub-arctic frontal zone in the central northern Pacific during autumn

We examine the cross structure of the sub-arctic frontal zone in the central Pacific using data obtained during the fifth cruise of theRV Akademik M. A. Lavrent'ev (autumn 1986). It is noted that the zone's position is closely related to the Ekman circulation (northern boundary of the area) and the North Pacific current (southern boundary).
