Ekplorations of the theory of error in ancient China were both plentiful and fruit ful. Aware that errors could not be avoided in measurement, the ancient Chinese probed into the factors causing errors in measurement and the methods of reducing them. They also made some theoretical analyses on the concept of error.These explorations are the important parts of the history of measurement in China. |
