| Abstract: | The text introduces the work method of shear wave velocity testing of building site; the analysis, explanation and computing of actual testing waveform and the application in seismic defense and engineering geology. The factors effecting wave velocity testing are studied. Some viewpoints about the problems existing in wave velocity testing are brought forward. |
