Abstract:From April to June, 2000, the respiration rate of Calanus sinicus, Acartia pacifica and Labidocera euchaeta were determined. The results were as follows: the maximum respiration rate of C. sinicus 17.69mma/(ind· d)] appeared in 20℃, and that of A. spinicauda 6.46mm3/(ind·d)] and L. euchaeta 20.00 mm3/(ind· d)] appeared about 25°C. In 28°C, the respiration rate of A. pacifica and L. euchaeta decreased following with the rising of the salinity.
