| Abstract: | PAGES is a core project of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme(IGBP).Through the organization of coordinated national and international scientific efforts,many great achievements about Past climatic and environmental changes have been obtained.This paper is intended to reconsider some problems found in the study of the PAGES including inevitable and unexpected abrupt climatic changes,certain and uncertain climatic events,simple and complicated processes of climatic variation to arouse the attention and discussion of paleoscientist. |
