German Standards of Iron Ores

The chemical composition of eight german ore standards, seven iron ores and one manganese ore, is presented. A certificate of analysis supplied with each sample is given as an example; it contains the names of the co-operating laboratories, the- mean value obtained by each laboratory for each element and a statistical evaluation of the laboratory means. A summary is also given of the methods used.
