Abstract: | Presented are the results from investigating the chemical composition dynamics of atmospheric precipitation in the Far-Eastern region of Russia for the last 25 years. It is shown that the increase in acidity of atmospheric precipitation is due to the trans-boundary transfer of acid-forming pollutants from industrial centers of East Asia, which is borne out by the results derived from analyzing synoptic data. |
