世界城市未来展望与思考

该文阐述近几十年来世界城市发展的特点和趋势 ,指出当前世界城市发展所面临的严峻问题 ,认为看待城市和城市化应采取一分为二的方法 ,以正确的眼光和长远的角度来合理评价城市的发展 ,从而找到确实能解决问题的有效途径。笔者认为 ,未来的世界将是城市化的世界 ,2 1世纪的到来标志着城市时代的来临 ;城市化的高速发展是不可避免的 ,这是人类社会发展的必然趋势 ,而且其所带来的后果有利有弊 ,不能因其所产生的弊端而回避其存在的客观性。城市化仍然是人类社会经济和社会发展的客观要求和必然结果。

The Vista and Thinking on the Future Cities around the World

The authors expound and analyze the characteristics and trends of the cities around the world briefly the last several decades years recently, point out the serious problems faced by the current development of them and think that we should look upon city and urbanization by the means that one divides into two and evaluate the development of the city reasonably in correct vision and long term angle, thus find the effective approaches to solve the problems. The authors raise that the future world will be a world with urbanization, and the arrival of 21 century symbolizes the coming of urban era. It is an inexorable trend in the process of the development of human society that the urbanization will develop at high speed and the consequence it brings about includes advantageous and disadvantageous aspects. We could not avoid the objectivity of its existence because of these disadvantages caused by urbanization. Urbanization is still the objective demand and the necessary consequence of the social and economic development in human society.
