国外末次冰期极盛期以来环境演变研究的主要特点

国外对更新世末次冰期极盛期(LGM)以来环境演变的研究出现了一些新的趋势和特点。本文对此进行了归纳与分析，并指出它们对国内第四纪研究工作的启示意义。

SOME CURRENT TRENDS IN THE STUDIES ABROAD ON THE ENVIRONMNTAL CHANGES DURING THE LAST 18000 YEARS

The last two decades witnessed some major developments in the studies of the environmentalchanges since Last Glacial Maximum in the western countries.The current research characteristicshave been summarised in this peper as followings :(1)More attentions have been payed to the precise dating and the fining of the time resolution;(2)The applications of the advantage techniques and metheds have been emphazised;(3 )The synthetic studies across different disciplines have become more and more important; 4)With the accumulation , the researchers in the western coun tries have began to reconstructthe space patterns of environmental changes on continental or even global seales;(5 ) Simulation studies using models and investigation of the mechanism of paleoenvironmentchanges has been shown to be very valuable in the formation of the theory.
