| Abstract: | This paper uses the observed transverse magnetic fields in solar active regions to calculate the distribution of the longitudinal electric current densities. We discuss the concrete calculation method used and the results obtained. A brief discussion is also presented on the application in solar physics of the method of calculating the longitudinal electric current in solar active regions. |
