摘    要:详细讨论了位移—距离曲线类型及相关的断层扩展位错模式,建立了位移—距离曲线与内部应变的解析关系式。完善后的位移—距离法,既可以用来估算研究区的平均应变量,代替平衡剖面法,而且可以计算研究区内(如造山带内)任意点的应变值。

Abstract:The displacement-distance method is a very useful technique in analysing fold-thrust structures and calculating strain developed in the area of linked-fault systems. The displacement-distance chart, however, is not always a straight line but consists of curves of various types. This paper discusses in detail the types of displacement-distance curves and relative dislocation models of fault propagation, and establishes the equations between displacement-distance curves and internal strain. The improved displacement-distance method can be used not only to calculate average strain in place of the balance-section, and to locate exactly the position of the fault tip on a cross-section, but also to work out strain and displacement at any point in the researched area.
