Abstract:On the territory of Bohemia and Moravia the measurements of the vector of geomagnetic field (declination, inclination and total intensity) were carried out at 199 points of the first order in 1994–1996. All values were reduced to the epoch 1995.5 and magnetic maps were derived by means of standard computer software. A comparison of recent measurements with IGRF has shown that, in the first approximation, IGRF can be used on this territory as a reference magnetic field.
