| Abstract: | Munitions are now widely distributed throughout the coastal waters of the British Isles following accidental losses or deliberate dumping in the past. Substantial quantities have been discovered by the general public, and occasional injuries or fatalities have resulted from the improper handling of a small proportion found in dangerous condition. |
