鄂西山区的峰顶面

摘    要:鄂西山区存在广阔的峰顶面,具体表现为许多中低山顶部起伏平缀,“一望如平湖”.过去,一直把它视力被构造运动抬升的“准平原”——“夷平面”.经十多年来的调查研究,发现该山区自早中生代以来一直保持为区域性分水地带,山顶上存在较强烈风化剥蚀均夷的地貌发育过程,并使山顶面上的风化剥蚀残留物质不断地更新.因此认为该山区的峰顶面力构造运动缓慢抬升基础上,不断地遭受强烈风化剥蚀的产物.

Abstract:There is widely distributing the summit level in Western Hubei Mountain Region, namely "the topographical level of Western Hubei Period", which is the existence of accoedant ridge tops that locally truncate lithology and structure in the upland areas, with an altitude of 2 200 -1 700m, or even lower. For many decades, the most common hypothesis to explain Western Hubei summit level wore the peneplain concept. But,after the investigation over a decade years, it was discovered that the Western Hubei Mountain Region has being maintained as regional watershed ridge since the Early Mesozoic Epoch,and there exist the geomorphologic processes of weathering,denudation and locally planation on the mountain tops,which has renew the remain-materials there continuously. So,the summit level took shape due to intensive weathering and denudation on mountain top under the tectoni cmovement background of slow uplifting there.
