Abstract: | A 4-layer model is presented to determine the energy exchange in the surface layer of the atmosphere above the sea, which includes the exchange in the turbulent layer (with and without the influence of stratification), the buffer and molecular layer. The results are in good agreement with experimental data, which can also be said about the dependence of the drag coefficient and the Stanton and Dalton numbers on the friction velocity and the stability, the stability dependence being smaller than in earlier investigations without a multilayer model. |
