| Abstract: | This paper discusses some techniques and results of investigating of seafloor geochemical field in the Russian part of the North Caspian Sea. Conclusions on the present (2001–2002) level of heavy metal pollution and on the nature of hydrocarbon gase anomalies are presented. |
