Abstract:Anemia has considerable value,as food both larval and adult stages for fishes and crustaceans.It has been commonly known to occur in China in its parthenogenetic form.Recently,it is found there exist bisexual brine shrimps in some areas of China,such as Shanxi,Hebei and Jilin Provinces,and Xinjiang Autonomous Region.However,it is not clear that the genetic relationship between the bisexual and the parthenogenetic.Isozyme is the product of gene expression and has been widely used in the studies of classification,genetic variation,evolution and geographical distribution of Anemia.Accordingly this paper provides the biochemical evidence for the genetic relationship between the parthenogenetic and the bisexual forms of Anemia in China based on the isozyme variation and clustering of the genetic similarities in Anemia from different geographical locations.
