| Abstract: | In recent years, some efforts on KDD have been focused on applying the rough set method to KDD. The basic concepts of the rough set were introduced in the paper, including the definition of the rough set, the "attribute value" systems, attributes dependency and reducts, and several extensions to the rough set. Some probable application of rough set in KDD was put forward in the end of the paper. |
