| Abstract: | This paper introduces some advances about mantle plume theory including the characteristics, dynamical framework and many effects on mantle plume. The relation between mantle plume and plate motion is summarized. The mantle plume theory provides a mechanism for the vertical movement of the earth material, the study about mantle plume will have great significance for us to know deeply about the dynamics in the deep earth. |
