| 摘 要： | Map reproductin and printing has a close relation with electronics, physics, machinebuilding, chemistry and computer sciences. It develops as these sciences grow and forms up its theoretical and technological systems during its own progress. The development of remote sensing cartography and thematic cartogrphy, and the apparent increase of map varieties and colorful presentation forms call those engaged in map reproduction and printing not only to produce ordinary topographic maps and atlases but also to print various continuous tone images. The expanded study area of the profession has made a much higher requirement of the map printers.
