摘    要:氢和氧的稳定同位素作用为水起源的标记业已成为水文地质学和环境地质学的重要工具,被用来定量评价自然界的许多水文地质学和环境地质过程。但是,难点是标记的确定,14C作为时钟可用于测定地下水年龄。然而,放射性碳是一个难于掌握的工具。困难是确定补给水到达潜水面时14C的初始放射性。

Abstract:Stable isotopes, as labels of the origin of water, have become important tools in hydrology and environmental geology.Ef-forts have also been made at using stable isotopes to quantify some hydrological processes in nature. The difficulty, however, lies in the determination of the labels. Many environmental radioisotopes, as chronometers, can be used in groudwater dating, but only tri-tium and radiocarbon are suitable for practical purposes. Nevertheless, radiocarbon is not easy to tackle in that it is difficult to deter-mine the initial carbon -14 activities at the time when the water reaches the water table.
