分形理论在地震学中的应用研究

摘    要:分形理论是现代非线性科学中一个非常重要的研究领域,它的思想和方法已经渗透到自然科学的各个领域.在过去的二三十年间,分形科学已经有了很大的发展.它在数学、物理学、材料学、地质勘探、股票预测以及计算机和信息科学等各个自然科学领域,都得到了广泛的应用,同时也给地震学的发展注入了巨大的活力.本文首先简要回顾了分形理论的发展历程,然后就其在地震学各领域的应用进行了概括阐述,最后给出了分形理论在地震学中应用前景的展望.

Abstract:Fractal theory is an important research field of modern nonlinear sciences,the idea and method of which have been widely used by many kinds of disciplines of natural sciences.Over the past twenty years,fractal science has prodigious development,and its use comes down to the natural and social research fields such as mathematics,physics,material science,geological exploration,stock prediction,computer science and information science,at the same time it gives great impetus to the development of seismology.In this paper we first review the developing process of fractal theory,in the following we give out a summary of applications of the above-mentioned fractal theory in seismology,at last we simply give out the prospect of the application of fractal theory in the development of seismology.
