Reply to Oczlon’s (2006) comment

The comment of Martin Oczlon contains some significant contributions to the topics discussed in the article of Huckriede et al. (Int J Earth Sci 93:414–431, 2004). Contrary to Oczlon’s comment, the central results of Huckriede et al. (Int J Earth Sci 93:414–431, 2004) are clearly different from the tectonic model of Oczlon (Geol Rundsch 83:20–31, 1994). Additionally, there is no reason for a new interpretation of the ⁴⁰K/⁴⁰Ar muscovite cooling-ages from allochthonous units.
