| Abstract: | In the course of a detailed systematic inverstigation,Hydromedusae were collected from the Northern Part of the South China Sea during February 1978-January 1979,of which 5 specimens were proved to be a new species.A new family and genus has been erected for the species,which belongs to Anthomedusae.The diagnosis for tha new family,genus and species are as follows. |
