Abstract:High resolution seismic exploration is the basis of lithologic seismic exploration and reservoir deseription, it has become the high light of recent research. With the development of research, many difficult problems appear. In order to resolve these problems, it is necessary to research on some basic problems of high resolution. The factors of influencing resolution and the relation among the SNR, resolution and removing noise with signal high fidelity will be discussed in succession. According to signal analysis, the author of this paper has proved the relation between the wavelet resolution and wavelet frequency composition in theory, and explained it with illustration.
