| Abstract: | Summary A wavelet‐based technique is described for the processing of sodar signals. A two‐stage wavelet filtering process is used
to emulate a matched‐filter receiver to optimize signal detectability. The process compresses the data required to produce
accurate facsimile records by a factor of 256.
