| Abstract: | Summary Wave propagation in a semi-infinite micropolar isotropic elastic solid lying over another micropolar isotropic elastic solid is considered using the theory of micropolar elasticity initiated byEringen 3]2). The relation between the group velocity and the speed of propagation is obtained for the new type of surface wave. |
