CHARACTERISTICS AND SIGNIFICANCE OF ARTIFICIAL RADIOTHERMOLUMINESCENCE OF QUARTZ IN THE BAINAIMIAO GOLD DEPOSIT,INNER MONGOLIA

Based upon the research of characteristics of artificial radiothermoluminescence of quartz, this paper points out that the characteristics of artificial radiothermoluminescence of the vein quartz. That may indicate the grade of gold bearing to attain to the industrial grade in lodging-rock after artificial radiation. The trap depth of artificial radiothermoluminescence of quartz shows its negative correlation with the height of sample position and grade of gold in lodging-rock. The studies have show that the trap depth of artificial radio-thermolumihescence of quartz can be used to judge erodibility of orebody (or ore vein) and extending limits of gold mineralization, and it can be directly used as a miner-alogic typomorphism for explorating and appraising gold deposits.
