江苏及其周边地区断裂活动性与地震关系的分析

摘    要:江苏及其周边地区的断裂带按其展布方向可以分为北东向、北西向、北北东向和近东西向4组,其中北西向、北北东向及东西向的断裂带发育时代新、活动性强,并多处切割了北东向断裂带,是该区重要的控震、发震断裂构造。通过分析现有资料认为,江苏及其周边地区具备发生Ms≥6.0级中强地震的地质构造条件。

Abstract:The faults in Jiangsu province and its adjacent areas are divided into 5 groups by the NE, NW, NNE and EW directions. The faults in NW, NNE and EW directions develop newly and their activities are stronger, they cut across NE direction faults in some places, and they are important seismogenic structures in this area. According to the geologic structure data, the results show that it is possible to occur Ms≥6.0 earthquakes in this area.
