海带单倍体遗传稳定性的初步实验

In old cultures of cells there is usually a problem of keeping the genetic stability of the cells either haploid or diploid. In our Lab. genetic stability of the various Laminarian haploid cell clones has been observed. However, many cell clones of the gametophytes after repeated subculture had the strong tendency to go on vegetative growth instead of developing into entire plants. Mutation rarely detected. Changes of culture medium would generally induce development of the haploid cells.In the present experiments it was seen that PES medium and very low doses of ultra violet radiation had obvious stimulating effect in promoting the cloned cells to develop into entire plants and synchronus maturation seemed possible.
