| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the variation of the gravity field before and after the Ms4 3 earthquake at Taiyuan on June 26,1993 and the Ms4 4 earthquake at Lingshi on April 26,1994.The author suggests that the obvious trend anomalies of the gravity field in the middle and the south of Shanxi occurred before and after the 2 earthquakes.Combined with the crustal deep structure in the area,the paper proposes that there will be proba bility of moderately strong earthquake in the middle and the south of Shanxi in future. |
