Abstract:This paper deals with interaction between organic matters and gold from experimental. data in three aspects: 1. Leaching of gold from rock by water solution containing organic matters such as crude oil, fat acid, amino acid, and humic acid; 2. Solubilities of gold-organic complexes in water solutions at temperture 25-200℃; 3. Migration of gold by oil in the system without water at temperture 200-300℃ and pressure 200-500 ×105 Pa. The results suggest that organic matters may play an important role in mobilization and migration of gold under certain conditions. Crude oil has high ability to extract gold from water solutions, which decreases with increasing temperture. These organic matters of complex composition and structure such as crude oil and humic acid have higher abilities to combine with gold than simple fat acid and amino acid. The ability of water solutions with a little organic matter will increase to leach gold. Crude oil can extract little gold from rocks in the system without water at room temperature, but it may play an important role in mobilization and migration of gold at considerably high temperture(200-300℃)and pressure(200-1000×105Pa).
