湖南境内前泥盆纪地体群的建立标志

建立地体群的标志有边界断裂，沉积特征，岩浆活动以及构造变形等标志。据此，湖南省可以厘定出五个性质不相同的地体：湘西北稳定大陆边缘型原地地体，湘东北活动陆缘弧形异地地体，湘中大陆岛弧型异地地体，湘东大陆岛弧型异地地体以及湘南活动陆缘弧形异地地体。

Index Establishing Pre Devonian Terrain Groups in Hunan

In Hunan one can classify five different terrains with various natures,that is,autochthonous terrain of stable continent margin type of NW Hunan,allochthonous terrain of arc type of active continent margin of NE Hunan,allochthonous terrains of continental island arc type of central and East Hunan,and allochthonous terrain of arc type of active continent margin of South Hunan.Index establishing terrain group include boundary fault,feature of sedimentation,magma activity and structural deformation etc.
