| Abstract: | In this paper house density has been calculated on medium scale photographs and efforts have been made to recognize the physical characteristics of houses on aerial photographs for the purpose of house density mapping. Although the aerial photographs reveal wealth of information regarding the houses, only the residential plots as house units have been taken into account for the present study. |
