介绍了关于对自然的界定。认为自然有广义与狭义之分,进而阐述了对人和自然和谐相处的认识,即要实现人与自然和谐相处必须做到正确的认识自然、开展科学实验和坚持百家争鸣．做到按自然规律办事。作为实现人与自然和谐相处的实例,介绍了在主持实施再造西北地区山川秀美科技行动计划中获得的理论和实践认识。

Harmonic co-existence of mankind with nature and reconstruction of comely landscape in Northwest of China

The new definition of "nature" is given in this paper. According to the definition, "nature" should be divided into two part: the generalization one and the narrow one. The former means the world, the cosmos, the latter reflects the organic and inorganic world that are composed of the first nature undisturbed by mankind and the second disturbed. Some viewpoints on the harmonic co-existence of mankind and nature are presented. It is pointed out that mankind should realize nature correctly, persist in letting a hundred schools of thought contend and obey natural law to do everything in order to realize this co-existence. As a practical example of harmonic co-existence of mankind and nature in northwest of China, the theory and practical experience are offered.
