广州发展知识经济的有利条件制约因素与政策建议

文章在发达国家由工业经济向知识经济转换的大背景下，分析了产业结构处于急剧变化中的广州发展知识经济的有利条件和不利因素，并就广州加快发展知识经济提出了政策建议，以促进广州经济迈上新台阶。

The Conditions, Limitations and Measures of Developing Knowledge Economy in Guangzhou

This paper pays attention initially to the favorable conditions of developing the knowledge economy in Guangzhou. Industrial economy begin to transform towards the service economy. Grey collar labour group mainly dominated by the highly qualified people is forming. Universities, research institutes and qualified people concentrate spatially. Agglomeration of high tech enterprises is becoming obvious. Knowledge intense industries and information infrastructure have reached a relatively high level. Then, the limitations of developing the knowledge economy are examined. Industrial structure is still at a low level. Modern infrastructure is still backward. Knowledge intense industries lacks obvious spatial characteristics. Soft environment quality is not good. The economy of the city is poorly integrated into the world economy. Comprehensive innovative milieu does not satisfactory. Finally some measures and suggestions of promoting the development of knowledge economy in Guangzhou are put forward.
