| Abstract: | Summary An instrument for the measurement of the magnetic susceptibility of rocks in situ or in the laboratory has been described. The instrument is a completely portable and transistorised unit having a range from 5 to 50000×10–6 CGS units of volume susceptibility. The accuracy of measurements is ±5%.
