| Abstract: | Sudburyite is known to occur in many copper and nickel sulfide deposits in China. Its ideal formula is PdSb. The three-dimensional parameters as determined by an automatic single crystal X-ray diffractometer PW 1100 are:a 0=4.083,c 0=5.602 Å,Z=2. Space groupD 6h 4 -P63/mmc. It is isostructural with niccolite, with parametes Pd 000,00 1/2; Sb 2/3 1/3 ¼, 1/3 2/3 ¾ andR=0.11. |
