| Abstract: | The differences between loess and sand in liquefaction mechanism, models of pore water pressure generation, coefficients of volumetric compressibility and permeability coefficients are preliminarily analyzed to realize the characteristics, the rapid increase, slow dissipation of pore water pressure and large settlement during loess liquefaction. |
