Institution:Dennis B. Nakamoto, registered geologist, received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, in 1977. He is a senior geologist with McLaren Environmental Engineering (3017 Kilgore Rd., Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670) and is currently involved in the design and construction off aciltties to extract and re-inject ground water, and in investigations to define soil and ground water chemical quality. Prior to employment with McLaren Engineering, Nakamoto was involved with mining of and exploration for industrial minerals and ground water resources in the western United States.;Frederick R. McLaren, president of McLaren Engineering (3017 Kilgore Rd., Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95870), received bachelor of science degrees in civil and sanitary engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1962. The corporation that he directs consists of 48 geologists, hydrologists, engineers and soil scientists. The firm's work is primarily associated with the investigation of ground water pollution problems and aquifer restoration. His work experience includes 10 years with the state of California, leading to the position of assistant chief, Division of Water Quality. McLaren has taught graduate school classes in water quality and ground water hydrology in the University of California. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Hazardous Waste Committee, a Professional Engineer in California and Nevada, and a diplomate in the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.;Peter J. Phillips received his bachelor's degree from California State University, Sacramento, in 1979. He is currently a senior geologist with McLaren Environmental Engineering (3017 Kilgore Rd., Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670) and is currently involved with the drilling and construction of wells to define ground water quality. Prior to employment with McLaren Engineering, Phillips was involved with exploration for petroleum resources.
