| Abstract: | Ten Changxingian fossil communities are established according to their separable and characteristic assemblages which re-appear in many sections.Independence of the ten communities, their mutual relations ( successive appearance, etc. ) and the convincingness of their environmental interpretations are investigated by using mathematic methods including cluster analysis, interchangeable analysis and probability analysis of the genera and species.Ecostratigraphic subdivision and correlation of five sections transversing Southwest Guizhou (Fig.4, 5)revealed that this region underwent three episodes of eustatic vibration, and seven para-isochronous lines can be drawn to correlate the facially different strata. |
