| Abstract: | Distribution of pressure systems in the Northern Hemisphere is analyzed in the latitudinal range of 40°–60° from the data
of three sets of reanalysis. It is shown that the latitude-mean value of the 500-hPa isobaric surface tends to grow during
last decades. By means of analysis of tropospheric frontal zone characteristics, the cases are revealed with blocking deformation
of the pressure field. Occurrence frequency of blockings is analyzed. |
