| Abstract: | It is important to understand the deformation mechanism, to reduce or eliminate main unfavourate factors of deformation, and to make full use of the self anti sliding ability of large scale landslide in controling landslide by stages. The background and general situation of the urgent prevention countermeasure of an old landslide are analyzed in this article as an example, and the prevention project can be considered as an useful try in the treatment of large scale landslides by stages. |
