| Abstract: | The relationships ( including both the similarities and the differences ) between the meandering river and anabranched one have been discussed with some relevant experimental results. The analysis shows that anabranched pattern is one that belongs to the realm of the meandering river, but the former needs more additional limited conditions than the latter for its development. |
