摘    要:当前在粘土矿物研究中,扫描电镜已成为不可缺少的重要手段。它可以直接观察粘土样品原样,深入研究粘土矿物及其集合体的微观性状特征、矿物相互间的关系及转化等。这对于认识不同成因类型粘土矿物的形成条件,有着重要意义,也是其它研究手段无法代替的。

Abstract:This paper discusses the application of SEM type DX-3A made in China for study of clay minerals.We have obtained some good photographs of kaolinite,Halloysite,illite and montmorillo-nite from clay specimens.Characteristic microforms of these clay minerals are shown in these photographs.In addition,the relationship between the microforms and their crystal structure,chemical composition an’d mechanism of formation are studied.The studies of the microforms of clay minerals and the state of aggregation have not only theoretically importance but also practical applications for example to study of the effect on the engineering and technical properties of clays.It is shown that crude materials of clays can be studied directly using high resolution SEM to obtain details of the microform of clay minerals.SEM combined with other methods will play an important role in study of clay mineralogy.
