An Analysis of Production Elements to Adjust Industrial Structure in Nujiang Prefecture

Nujiang Prefecture is an indigent district with impoverished natural-social-economic condition.The advantageous and disadvantageous production elements to adjust industrial structure in Nujiang Prefecture are analyzed in the paper.According to the criteria to select leading industry,including capacious market potential,high industrial relevancy,strong driving force and good economic benefit,some suggestions are put forward: minerals,hydropower and tourism resources should be exploited with priority to alleviate local poverty and drive social-economic development,to upgrade its industrial structure and achieve an optimal state,concretely,hydro-electricity development should be focused on the Nujiang,mining industries be centered on the exploitation of the lead and zinc mines in Lanping,and tourism development be emphasized on minority ethnic culture and natural scenery.Agriculture development should take animal husbandry and green agriculture as a leading direction.
